UK hardcore heavyweights Guilt Trip have officially released their long-awaited third album Armour of Angels via Roadrunner Records, marking a defining new chapter for the Manchester five-piece. The album arrives after months of anticipation built on singles “Burn”, “Angel Eyes”, “Dirt” and “No Love Lost”, and now lands in full alongside the release of lead track “One By One”

Across twelve tracks, Armour of Angels captures everything that has shaped Guilt Trip since their formation in Manchester: uncompromising intensity, heavy groove-driven riffs and a sharpened identity forged over a decade. Produced by the band themselves, the record builds on 2023’s Severance while pushing their sound into more ambitious and dynamic territory.

From the crushing weight of “Cut From God” to the guest appearance from Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. on “Resurrected”, the album balances raw hardcore aggression with unexpected melodic and alternative influences, drawing inspiration that stretches from Tool to Linkin Park. It closes with what the band call their heaviest statement yet in “The Banner of Heaven”.

Vocalist Jay Valentine says: “We are proud to unleash our brand new record ‘Armour of Angels’ on the world. We put everything Guilt Trip lives and breathes into this LP and we are excited to finally share what we have been working on over the past three years. We believe these songs embody our journey from the very beginning to now, everything we have experienced over the past decade translated into twelve tracks. The first of which is ‘One By One’, just under 4 minutes of riffs, grooves and aggression Guilt Trip have come to be known for. Thank you for your unwavering support throughout the years, we hope you can enjoy and relate to these songs as much as we do.

To celebrate the release, Guilt Trip are taking over Manchester this weekend with a special two-day event. On Saturday June 6th, the band host a pop-up at The New Cross, unveiling their collaboration with Adidas. The partnership marks Adidas’ first collaboration with a UK hardcore band, following previous links with Korn and Black Sabbath. Together, they have created a limited run of just 150 pairs of custom Superstar II sneakers, available exclusively at the pop-up.

Running from midday until late, the space will also feature exclusive vinyl variants, customisable football shirts and limited-edition merchandise. The collaboration also saw Guilt Trip become the first hardcore band invited to record at Adidas’ Manchester recording studio space inside Co-op Live, in partnership with Abbey Road.

Celebrations continue on Sunday June 7th with a sold-out underplay at the Star & Garter in Manchester. All proceeds from the show will be donated to Lifeshare, the Senior Staffy Club, Manchester Women’s Aid and Andy’s Man Club.

2026 has already seen Guilt Trip tour extensively across North America, Australia, Asia and Europe, including a co-headline run with Malevolence and festival appearances at Slam Dunk. The band will continue a packed summer of festival shows before launching their biggest UK and European headline tour in October, including major dates at Manchester’s New Century Hall and London’s Electric Ballroom Electric Ballroom.
