The Callous Daoboys Release Single & Video “Lemon”

Atlanta-based genre defiers The Callous Daoboys have unveiled their latest single, “Lemon,” alongside a chaotic new music video. The track is another taste of their upcoming album I Don’t Want to See You in Heaven, set for release on May 16, 2025, via MNRK Heavy.

Following the explosive introduction of “The Museum of Failure” with their first release “Two-Headed Trout/The Demon of Unreality Limping Like A Dog,” the band now showcases another dimension of their sound with “Lemon.” Taking a softer approach, “Lemon” is a step away from their mathcore output with an anthemic groove and soul filled rock song that showcases their ability to craft interesting and heartfelt melody driven music while keeping their authenticity.

Vocalist Carson Pace reflected on the divisive nature of “Lemon,” stating: “Some people are going to love this one, some people are going to hate this one, it’s just the reality of things. “Lemon” represents every frustration that you’ve ever had with a judgmental lover who wants you to give up on your art. “Lemon” says ‘fuck that, you didn’t love me anyway.’”
