The Acacia Strain Drop New Single “Swamp Mentality”

Metal juggernauts The Acacia Strain recently announced details of their brand-new album, You Are Safe From God Here, which lands 24th October 2025 via Rise Records and now the band have unleashed a brand new single from it “Swamp Mentality”, complete with a suitably dark and humorous music video.

Speaking about the track, the band explained: “The swamp is a place of rot, death, and decay; but it is also ripe with life and regeneration. You are safe from God in the points of darkness and decomposition. Seek your sanctuary. No one leaves the swamp.”

The Acacia Strain describe their latest work as being quintessentially them: “This record is unapologetically The Acacia Strain; take that however you want. It’s angry, it’s sad, it’s us. We made a record that made us feel uncomfortable. We hope it makes you feel the same way.”

Fans can expect the full force of the band’s trademark sonic brutality, cavernous riffs, gut-wrenching breakdowns, and an atmosphere dripping in nihilism and existential dread. The new album sees TAS further exploring the suffocating heaviness of sludge, doom, and death metal, all while keeping their hardcore punk edge razor sharp.
