SPIRITBOX Release Heavy New Single “Cellar Door”

Like all great bands Spiritbox have that ability to delve into their song writing arsenal and pull out something unexpected every now and then and today’s release “Cellar Door” does just that. After the previous two singles of “The Void”, a driving electronically pop fuelled track and “Jaded”, which leaned into a more “Eternal Blue” territory, no one could have expected the next single to be possibly one of the bands heaviest songs since “Holy Roller” but we are not complaining. The track is taken from their upcoming EP ‘The Fear of Fear’, set for release on November 3rd via Rise Records/Pale Chord and is a straight up face melter that ticks all the right boxes. Huge detuned riffs, pummelling drums, crushing breakdowns and vocalist Courtney LaPlante going full on aggression make this one of the bands most intense songs to date and one that will see many a pit open for years to come. Accompanying the song is a beautifully and creatively shot music video that captures the essence of the song with unnerving cinematic imaging and iconic gothic styling.
