South Arcade Release New Single “FEAR OF HEIGHTS”

South Arcade are back with new music – and they’re soaring to new heights. The rising alt-rock four-piece have dropped their new single FEAR OF HEIGHTS via BKM Artists and LAB Records, marking another anthemic milestone in what’s shaping up to be a landmark year for the band.

Powered by crunchy Y2K guitars, a massive singalong chorus, and Harmony Cavelle’s powerhouse vocals, FEAR OF HEIGHTS channels the adrenaline of leaping into the unknown.

The band share: “FEAR OF HEIGHTS is about that moment when comfort turns into a cage. When life gets monotonous, it can be easy to stay in your lane and carry on as things are but this song is the opposite. It’s telling you to take the risk and go for it. We’ve all found ourselves in situations where we’d woken up and thought “I need to get out of here” and that’s what this song represents – no risk, no reward.”

Since their breakout EP 2005 racked up over 35 million Spotify streams, South Arcade have rocketed into the spotlight. And it’s not just online where they’ve built a following – South Arcade’s rise has been fuelled by a relentless tour schedule that’s seen them sell out headline shows in London and Manchester, take on 25 dates across the US with Magnolia Park, and tour Europe and Australia with Bilmuri. Festival appearances at Slam Dunk, Jera On Air, and High 5ive Festival have further cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting live bands on the circuit.

Their summer is far from over. Following their breakout BBC Introducing headline in 2024, they return this August to tear up the main stage at Reading & Leeds alongside Limp Bizkit and Bring Me The Horizon. And in October, they’ll hit the road once again for their first-ever US headline tour, including sold-out dates in New York and LA, before hitting Austin City Limits Music Festival.
