Sleep Token Release New Single ‘Damocles’ and Reveal Full Album Tracklist

Sleep Token have unveiled Damocles, the third single from their forthcoming album Even In Arcadia, offering another layer of vulnerability and introspection from the genre-defying masked collective. The track follows the earlier releases Emergence and Caramel, and shifts the mood towards something more delicate and revealing—both musically and lyrically.
While Damocles leans into ballad territory with restrained instrumentation and haunting vocal lines, its lyrical content is heavy with inner turmoil. “Well, I know I should be touring, I know these chords are boring,” sings Vessel, sounding both resigned and reflective. The chorus paints a vivid picture of emotional burnout and internal struggle: “When the river runs dry and the curtain is called / How will I know if I can’t see the bottom? / Come up for air and choke on it all / No-one else knows that I’ve got a problem.”
In a statement from the band’s elusive representatives, the song was described as one that “delves into the quiet unravelling beneath the surface, where grandeur fades and unspoken battles take centre stage.” They added: “With their signature blend of mystique and vulnerability, Damocles captures the weight of unseen struggle and the haunting echo of former glory, inviting listeners to confront what lies beneath the mask.”
The new single arrives ahead of the May 9 release of Even In Arcadia, the band’s fourth full-length album via RCA. Alongside the single, Sleep Token have also shared the full tracklist, which includes:

Emergence

The band’s momentum continues to build following the success of Caramel, which reached No.10 in the single charts —marking their highest chart position to date.
Sleep Token’s live schedule this year is just as stacked. In addition to headlining Download Festival 2025 alongside Green Day and Korn, drummer II will perform at Black Sabbath’s final concert in Birmingham this July. Following that, the band will embark on a North American headline tour this autumn. Dates are as follows:
