senses melt your tiny emo heart with pop-leaning anthem “tiptoeing“

Place yourself in the seat of a big American truck driving through the expanse of the mid-west. Suns out (but not too hot), cold beverage in your Quencher and gas (petrol for us Brits) to take you wherever you wanted to go. Unless you’re a hardy metal fan who only sings along to Kelly Clarkson or Backstreet Boys when no ones watching, the new track by senses would be a pretty fitting track to tuck into in the mix. It’s unapologetically pop, but also not pop enough to oust us alternative fans. It’s summer tapped into a bottle and bright enthusiasm that nods to 00s good times and more.
Finding each other via Craigslists (showing that random posts in hope of finding a kindred spirit in this world is not dead) Maddie Taylor and Nick Sampson made something pretty special. One that has seen them play alongside big alt and pop-rock names in the US including Charlotte Sands. Hopeless Records have now scooped the duo up which will help bring a new era for the band post-second EP.
We love this song!,’ exclaim Maddie and Nick. “Losing someone can be hard to grapple with and winning them back can be even trickier. This song is about delicately inching your way back to someone while also wanting to scream from the mountain tops how bad you want them back in your life. It’s the sound of second chances!”
