Saint Agnes Reveal New Single & Video ‘Good Boy’

London alt-industrial provocateurs Saint Agnes are back with another venom-laced offering. The band have unleashed new single ‘Good Boy’, the third track to be lifted from their forthcoming album Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin, landing May 29 via Spinefarm Records.
Frontperson Kitty A. Austen pulls no punches when explaining the track’s intent: “‘Good Boy’ was written to be a scathing critique of obedient, subservient men who uphold the capitalist death cult, feed the machine and call it a virtue. It’s a snarling takedown of the so-called ‘good boys’ who suck corporate dick and wear their complicity like a badge.”
Sonically, ‘Good Boy’ continues to sharpen Saint Agnes’ blade. Fusing raw industrial power with dark elegance and sweat-drenched hedonism, the track feels tailor-made for packed goth club dancefloors and chaotic live rooms alike. Drawing influence from the mechanical intensity of Nine Inch Nails, the genre-warping unpredictability of Poppy, and the cinematic euphoria of Lorde, Saint Agnes continue carving out a world that’s as confrontational as it is seductive.
For this record, however, they enlisted the mixing expertise of Jim Pinder (Sleep Token, Bring Me The Horizon), resulting in what Kitty calls: “Our best sounding record to date, and the truest to our vision.”
