Daytime TV unashamedly celebrate the breadth of UK rock

Daytime TV are brilliant songwriters, who have embraced the UK rock space. Whether you’re into indie rock originating from the 00s through to modern day, swagger-laden rock’n’roll or brilliant pop rock anthems. Split between London and Scotland they already have a impressive archive of shows, tour supports and festivals that include the likes of Kaiser Chiefs through to The Amazons and Mad Cool through to Y Not Festival. Call it alt-rock, call it contagious, call it what you want, but you’ll find something to get stuck into through Daytime TV.
Speaking about their latest single “Waves” the band share“We’ve all had periods of strength and stability followed by moments of vulnerability and struggle. I guess those are the waves we’re talking about”, comments vocalist Will Irvine on the single, “I think everyone feels that at some point, especially with the world being such a mad unpredictable place right now. One minute you think everything is great and then something takes you by surprise and you’re in a bit of a hole. Ultimately I’d love ‘waves’ to be a message of hope for anyone struggling mentally. There’s always the possibility of riding out the storm”.
