Multi-million streaming UK sensation PRESIDENT are back, kicking off 2026 with their first new music of the year, the soaring new single “Angel Wings.”
Operating at the intersection of heavy music, electronic experimentation, and cinematic atmosphere, PRESIDENT have never been a band to follow the rules. Refusing to be boxed in by genre or image, they focus on intent, crafting music designed to be experienced rather than marketed.
The new track, “Angel Wings,” sees the band continuing their sonic evolution, blending alt-rock grit with industrial textures, programmed beats, and push-and-pull breakdowns. “‘Angel Wings’ reflects a search for spiritual redemption and the resolve to begin again,” PRESIDENT explains. “It marks the opening of a new chapter. At its core, the song speaks to holding close those who matter most, while remaining unmoved by detractors.”
The single also marks a new milestone: it’s PRESIDENT’s first release under Atlantic Records, making 2026 an exciting new chapter for the enigmatic outfit.
Built to exist outside the noise, PRESIDENT aim to create music that demands deeper investment. Speaking to Revolver, they summed it up perfectly: “The music industry has elements of fast fashion to it these days… We wanted to step back and not be a part of that. But if people are interested, and they want to enter into this world, we’ll grab them with open arms.”
PRESIDENT are set to hit the road this weekend in North America, opening for Bad Omens and Beartooth, before returning to the UK and Europe in the spring for select festival dates and a sold-out headline run.
