Paradise Fell. Gear Release New Single ‘SUPER TURBO.’
Following the success of their last single, NO LIES. Paradise Fell. are continue their momentum with their brand of 90s post-grunge grit, 00s nu-metal punch, and modern rock edge with their latest track, SUPER TURBO.
SUPER TURBO. delivers a powerful grit filled 2000s inspired sound that contracts and explodes with huge hooks, riffs and electronic elements. The song was mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters, Feeder, Muse) and marks the beginning of Paradise Fell.’s second “A&B”-release series, nod to the glory days of vinyl and cassette, reimagined for the digital era. Later this year, fans can get their hands on limited edition CD mixtapes featuring reworked arrangements and unreleased voice notes.
Speaking on the track, frontman Matty explains: “SUPER TURBO. came from that urge to just take your brain out for a bit. Or even, taking you out of your brain… Acting on instinct instead of letting an overactive brain talk you out of everything. There’s something addictive about shutting out the noise, releasing the shackles, and just following your gut without shame. I had a taste of that recently, that feeling of pure freedom where you’re not problem-solving your own existence for once. It feels dangerous, but in the best way. Breaking out from the mould we are taught to live in.”
“The writing process reflected this freedom mindset. We didn’t overthink anything. If it felt good the first time, it stayed. The song came together from idea to final mix in less than two weeks, which is the quickest ever turnaround. We even left the original voice note of Harry [guitar] and I writing the riff in the final song because it captured ‘something’ that edits didn’t. ‘SUPER TURBO.’ feels like the most shackles-off we’ve ever been. It’s intentional chaos. It’s what happens when you stop censoring yourself and just let it out.”
