My Chemical Romance Announce Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge Deluxe Edition

Emo legends My Chemical Romance have announced the long-rumoured Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition), landing on June 6th, 2025, exactly 21 years since the album’s original release.

Remixed, remastered and repackaged for the diehards, this expanded edition of their iconic 2004 sophomore LP is set to drop on CD, digital and multiple vinyl variants — including a zoetrope 2LP and a limited 3-sided vinyl with an etched Side D.

The reissue brings a fresh sonic punch courtesy of Grammy-winning producer Rich Costey, who’s breathed new life into the record with brand-new mixes. It also features revamped artwork and four unreleased live recordings from a 2005 BBC session, including performances of “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” “Helena,” “The Ghost of You,” and a rare live cut of “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison” — originally only available as a B-side on a limited UK single.

The Deluxe Edition arrives just in time to ride the wave of MCR’s next chapter: the sold-out 2025 North American stadium tour, “Long Live”: The Black Parade. Tickets vanished within hours, proving that the band’s legacy isn’t just alive — it’s thriving louder than ever.

So grab your eyeliner, break out your old school iPod, and get ready to scream along to Three Cheers all over again — this time, bigger, louder, and bloodier than ever.
