Metalcore titans Miss May I have officially ushered in a new era, dropping the first taste of new music for 2026 with their explosive single, “Die on the Vine.” Alongside the track comes a powerful new video that showcases the band at their most dynamic — fusing galloping guitars, plate-shifting breakdowns, and soaring, unforgettable melodies.
It’s a statement of intent from a band that has never shied away from evolution, and “Die on the Vine” feels both ferocious and deeply introspective.
“‘Die on the Vine’ captures a mid-life reckoning — coming to terms with how deeply childhood experiences and unresolved trauma shape who we become,” the band explains. “The song reflects the moment where denial stops working and self-awareness sets in. If those patterns are something you have to live with, the choice becomes whether to decay under their weight or grow stronger through them. ‘Die on the Vine’ leans into that tension, framing survival as adaptation: sharpening your thorns over time instead of letting the damage define you.”
Sonically, “Die on the Vine” balances classic MMI ferocity with refined melody. The riffs charge forward with urgency, the breakdowns hit with seismic weight, and the chorus lingers long after the final note fades, a testament to a band that continues to sharpen its craft.
Fans will also be able to catch the band live this summer, with confirmed appearances at Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio and Rock Fest in Wisconsin this July. More live dates are expected to be announced soon.
