Mimi Barks has released her long awaited debut album ‘THIS IS DOOM TRAP’ (via Silent Cult) and along with it she is showcasing brand-new single ‘MIRTAZAPINE’. The song is everything Mimi Barks does best with the perfect blend of metal riffage, trap beats and her mix of haunting melodics, rap style and visceral screams.

‘THIS IS DOOM TRAP’ is co-produced by Mimi Barks alongside MorgothBeatz, Brian Spencer, Kenny Graves and KOEN and is a body of work which she describes as “a sonic journey through my pain-body and a guide on how to deal with it.”
Commenting further on the album Mimi Barks shares:
”I believed in the chaos which is my mind, the homicide to my healing.
Great resistance is the death of flow of energy.
The devil on my right, the angel of death on my left.
I battled fire with fire rather than transcending the low vibrations.
Writing this album catapulted me through different stages of self-destruction and unknown existential fears;
Initially, I considered naming the album Final Destination/Death Without Satisfaction.
But as of Thursday, September 26, 2024, I’m still here… THIS IS DOOM TRAP”
