Melrose Avenue Release New Single ‘Taste’

Fresh from a sold-out debut UK and European run late last year, Melrose Avenue have unleashed their latest single ‘Taste’, out now via Hopeless Records.

With ‘Taste’, Melrose Avenue step away from the light and lean fully into something more seductive, more dangerous, and more unapologetic. It’s a daring evolution for the Sydney alt-rock outfit, pushing both their sound and identity into deeper, more provocative territory.

Vocalist Vlado Saric explains: “Taste marks the next phase of Melrose Avenue stepping out of the light and letting our darker inhibitions take over – it’s about freedom, the right to be sexual, to be desired, and to desire. We felt our fanbase was ready for this side of us, and we wanted to give them exactly that.”

It’s a confident statement of intent, one that embraces sensuality and self-expression without restraint. Musically, the track matches its message, dialling up tension and atmosphere while maintaining the infectious hooks that have rapidly built the band’s international following.

After a hugely successful and fully sold-out debut UK/EU tour in November 2025, Melrose Avenue are heading straight back across the globe this summer for an even bigger run.

The tour includes massive festival appearances at Download Festival, Rock For People, Nova Rock, Jera On Air.

Alongside these landmark slots, the band will bring their electrifying live show to headline venues across the UK and mainland Europe.
