Malevolence Drop New Track For World Of Warcraft: Midnight

UK metal titans MALEVOLENCE have done it again! This time, merging their signature crushing sound with the epic fantasy world of Azeroth. The band have unveiled ‘Twelve To Midnight’, a brand-new track written and recorded in just twelve hours as part of a collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment for World of Warcraft®: Midnight™, the 12th expansion and second chapter of the World Soul Saga.

The partnership started with a surprise at Download Festival, where Blizzard and Jackson Guitars presented guitarist Konan “Kon” Hall with a custom WoW-inspired guitar built around his in-game Dwarf Paladin character. Kon, a lifelong WoW fan, immediately connected with the gift and the collaboration was born.

Blizzard set the challenge: capture the scale, tension, and looming threat of Midnight, where Xal’atath’s Void rises over Azeroth and a devastating storm gathers above the Sunwell, all under the pressure of the clock. Malev accepted without hesitation, the result is ‘Twelve To Midnight’, a riff-fest that blends the bands signature intensity and melodic flare with lyrics mirroring the WoW experience.
