Lorna Shore Announce New Album “I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me” & Drop Single ‘Oblivion’

Lorna Shore are back! The deathcore juggernauts have returned with new music, a new album announcement, and a huge US headline tour.
After cryptic teasers — including a mysterious billboard spotted on the New Jersey Turnpike — the band have officially announced their fifth studio album, I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, due out September 12 via Century Media Records.
Leading the charge is the crushing new single “Oblivion” – an intense 8 minute anthem that brings together all the Lorna Shore aspects and then some. There’s blastbeats and fast double kicks galore, intricate riffing, sweeping solos, crushing breakdowns, orchestral soundscapes and of course vocalist Will Ramos’ absolutely top tier and punishing range of screams.
Speaking on the song Ramos shares: “Writing this song felt like the culmination of all the things that we’ve done in the past, but brought to the next level; a more evolved version of what Lorna Shore truly is.” He adds, “I imagined a post-apocalyptic world in the (hopefully distant) future. A world where we have sown the seeds of our own destruction. The idea that we wished for better, hoped we were doing something that would help save us in this dying world, only to end up accelerating its inevitable destruction. This brings up the question; what is right? Do we even know what we’re doing? What have we done to try and actually change anything? Are we watering the earth or just feeding a constantly growing fire?”
The upcoming record marks their first full-length since 2022’s Pain Remains, a landmark release that propelled the band to global recognition, viral Spotify success, and sold-out tours. With I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me, the band look to push their sound even further in a bid for sonic extremity and emotional devastation.
