LØLØ Releases New Single ‘the dumbest girl in the world’

Pop-rock artist LØLØ has dropped her new single, “the dumbest girl in the world”, alongside the release of her second studio album ‘god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!’, out now via Fearless Records.

The 13-track record marks a defining moment in LØLØ’s evolving sound and identity as a songwriter, expanding on the diaristic style she first introduced on her debut album ‘falling for robots and wishing I was one’. Where that project explored emotional detachment and self-protection, this new era leans fully into vulnerability, self-reflection, and unfiltered emotional expression.

Across the album, LØLØ blends sharp pop-rock energy with dark humour and candid storytelling, capturing spirals of thought, emotional contradictions, and the chaos of modern relationships in real time. Previously released fan favourites such as “me with no shirt on,” “american zombie,” “the devil wears converse,” and “007” sit alongside new standout tracks including “the punisher,” “dumbest girl in the world,” and “lobotomy & u”.

Sonically, the record strips things back while sharpening its emotional impact—balancing gritty alt-rock textures with moments of melodic intimacy and tongue-in-cheek wit. It’s a sound that feels both raw and immediate, anchored by LØLØ’s distinct vocal delivery and confessional lyricism.

“My debut album had me wishing I could be a robot, so I didn’t have to feel anything and nobody could hurt me,” LØLØ explained. “This one, however, is what happens when I start embracing every messy, scary, and inconvenient feeling of being human. After all, feeling everything is kind of the whole point, right?”

She continued: “I’ve stripped things back – both sonically and physically – just a girl, her pen, and her guitar. This album is about learning, losing, falling in love, falling apart, and refusing to apologize for any of it. The world (and the people I write about) might call it ‘too much,’ but this album flips that on its head. It’s about owning my sensitivity and emotions because, god forbid a girl spits out her feelings!”

Alongside the album, the official music video for “the dumbest girl in the world” has also been released. The visual acts as both a call-out and a call-in for anyone who’s ever ignored their better judgment in the name of love. It draws inspiration from real conversations between friends and fellow artists, and features appearances from Chandler Leighton, Leah Kate, Hunter Daily, Bailey Spinn, and Mylie Taylor.
