German alternative rock rising stars Letters Sent Home have returned with ‘Bloom’, a powerfully emotional new single created in collaboration with Finnish alt-metal outfit LUNA KILLS. Released via SharpTone Records, the track blends haunting melodies with explosive heaviness.
“Bloom portrays the inner conflict you have with yourself when you’re in love with someone who is not good for you” the band shares. “You know you need to leave, but after every storm there is sunshine and you feel like you need the sun to bloom, so you don’t leave, and it stays a seemingly never-ending cycle. With our melodic, soft vocals and their heaviness, the collaboration with LUNA KILLS represents that conflict perfectly.”
The track showcases Letters Sent Home’s signature emotive, melodic vocals, colliding with LUNA KILLS’ darker, heavier sonic palette a dynamic that mirrors the emotional chaos at the song’s core.
‘Bloom’ also marks the latest preview of Forever Undone (Extended), the expanded edition of Letters Sent Home’s acclaimed debut full-length, due out October 10th. The new version expands the original record to 18 tracks, featuring guest appearances from a diverse lineup of artists including Dead Lakes, ROYALIST, Pentastone, Chris Zuehlke, CMAXLINK, and more.
