Kid Bookie releases new single ‘Love Me when You’re Angry’

The Two-time MOBO AWARD nominated genre crossing alternative artist KID BOOKIE has released a brand-new single entitled ‘LOVE ME WHEN YOU’RE ANGRY’ Featuring Ziey Kizzy. The song, which is taken from his new album, “SONGS FOR THE LIVING // SONGS FOR THE DEAD” (13th September via Marshall Records) delivers a powerful hard rock focussed sound packed full of riffs, electronic flourishes and emotional vocal performances from both Kid Bookie and Ziey Kizzy with a huge chorus that is guaranteed to become a fan favourite. It’s a expertly crafted song that not only showcases his versatility but also vulnerability.

“In this generation where everything’s such a microwavable moment – it has 2 minutes, it’s hot, and then you take out, and it’s just done,” Bookie explains. “This song is asking to give a little bit of hope, a little bit of something to hold on to. It’s about how our heart changes for a person and how we learn how to adapt to each change and the shape of their heart.”
