HYPHEN shares alt/hip-hop single “This might be it”

Powered by a strength in making positive, upbeat alternative/hip-hop music acting as a force for good, HYPHEN is one of the future superstars of this genre agnostic world. Already with a huge social fanbase and artist fans such as Jay Sean and YUNGBLUD, he’s also been on tour with Bob Vylan around the UK. He’s got punk spirit, can throw some serious synths down and make riffs to melt your face, all with very clearly considered stories and messages to his listeners.
“It’s a scary time when people keep talking about historical comparisons with Nazi Germany,” says Hyphen. “Meditation, and the joy of people shouting together at shows, helps me stay calm and find pockets of joy when the world is as dark as it is. ‘This Might Be It’ is my attempt to bottle that sentiment and give it to people.”
Alongside his music, HYPHEN has been a true community spirit, speaking to schools across the UK about his difficult times feeling suicidal, and how he was able to find optimism in his world. With many political passions from racisim, to the underrepresentation of British Asians in music, to simply encouraging you to challenge the status quo, it’s great to hear his debut EP is coming June 2025.
