Hot Mulligan Drop New B-Side “I Don’t Think It’s the Right Time for Emojis”
Hot Mulligan have released a new B-side single, “I Don’t Think It’s the Right Time for Emojis,” just ahead of their EU and UK tour, which kicks off tomorrow, 20th February.
Vocalist Tades offered some candid thoughts on the themes behind the track, reflecting on faith, societal hypocrisy, and personal morality: “Zealotry is probably going to kill us all. Which is fine, guess. It’s no better or worse than any other kind of annihilation. There’s some people of faith who seem to understand not everyone has to care what their book says, and that deserves thanks… I think most people are just so afraid to die that they can look past the evil thing their church has become.”
The track serves as a raw and unfiltered glimpse into the band’s worldview, pairing their signature emo-influenced sound with sharply observational lyrics.
The upcoming tour will see Hot Mulligan hit fifteen cities across the EU, UK, and Ireland, including a stop at the prestigious London Roundhouse. UK support will come from Delta Sleep, while their US summer run will feature headline dates and festival appearances with support from Joyce Manor, Saturdays At Your Place, and Koyo.
