HERIOT release new single & video ‘At the Fortress Gate’
HERIOT are continuing their path of sonic destruction with their brand new single ‘At the Fortress Gate’. The song, which is the bands second single from their upcoming debut album “Devoured by the Mouth of Hell” (set for release 27th September via Century Media), was recorded with Josh Middleton (Sylosis, Architects) and GRAMMY Award-winning Will Putney (END, Fit For An Autopsy, Better Lovers). The track is packed full of aggressive riffing, guttural vocals and mosh pit inducing beats that has seen them rise to become one of the most exciting new heavy bands of recent times.
Speaking on the single the band comment: “‘At the Fortress Gate’ blends elements from both our early and newer influences. It’s been one of our favourite unreleased tracks to perform live over this festival season, and we can’t wait to add it in the set for the Fit For An Autopsytour later this year!”
The accompanying video is directed by the band’s long-time collaborator Harry Steel and filmed at HERIOT‘s performances this summer at Hellfest, Jera on Air, Download Festival, Resurrection, Rock Am Ring and Rock im Park.
