Harpy shares official video for new single ‘PRECIOUS’

“nu-goth” star Harpy has dropped the official video for her new single “Precious”  a searing love anthem where devotion and desire blur into obsession and greed.

The track is the second single taken from her debut EP ‘VII’, arriving 7th November, a seven-song descent into sin that mirrors Harpy’s own transgressions: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth. On “Precious”, Greed manifests not in riches, but in the desperate need to own, control, and never let go.

“We wanted to pay homage to the grunge/nu-metal music videos of the late 1990s, early 2000s with Precious. System of A Down, Deftones, HIM, to reference a few. Sonically that’s where the style influence came from and it felt right to also tie it in with the aesthetic visually. We found an abandoned location thanks to my good friend Justin, who features in the video. We took over the space for a day and descended into madness together. I had a lot of fun shooting this video and exorcised a some demons in the process.”

Following the announcement of her biggest headline show to date at Oslo, London (1st December), Harpy has added two more UK dates in Newcastle and Brighton.
