Southern metalcore heavyweights GIDEON have just kicked off a ferocious new chapter, announcing their signing to Sumerian Records and celebrating the move with new single, ‘Til the Wheels Fall Off’. The Tuscaloosa, Alabama, quartet deliver a no-holds-barred barrage of southern fried hardcore-infused metal packed with punishing riffs, pit-ready grooves, and no f**ks given energy.

“We’ve always done things our way, and Sumerian Records believed in the vision,” the band shared in a statement. “This song is a tribute to the miles behind us and the road ahead. We’re not here for a pit stop—we’re here to break the speedometer. With Sumerian in the passenger seat, we’re going ‘Til the Wheels Fall Off.’”

It’s shaping up to be a massive year for GIDEON, with a packed touring schedule across the US. They’re now hitting the road with Miss May I, Dreamwake and Soulkeeper, followed by a run with Unity TX. Later this year, GIDEON will tear up Louder Than Life and New England Metal & Hardcore Fest, before closing out 2025 on tour with Kublai Khan TX, Drain, and Guilt Trip.
