FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY Unleash New Single ‘Lower Purpose’
Metal titans FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY have released their explosive new single, ‘Lower Purpose’ with accompanying music video. The track is the latest release from their highly anticipated album, “The Nothing That Is,” which will drop on October 25th via Nuclear Blast. ‘Lower Purpose’ is a blistering head banger of a track, that incorporates all the stank faced riffage and technical prowess fans have come to love from the band. Thematically the song takes aim on societal struggles, calling out corruption, greed, and the cycle of servitude many feel trapped in.
Speaking on the track, the band shared, “You work, you pay taxes, and you expect the people in positions of power and government to serve your needs and the needs of other citizens, when in reality they serve their own agendas. Greed, war, corruption, it’s almost impossible to free yourself from this cycle. You inevitably serve a lower purpose.”

In support of The Nothing That Is, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY will embark on a massive European and UK tour, marking their first headline run in the region in two years. The tour kicks off on November 22nd in London and will see the band playing over 20 cities across Europe. Label mates SYLOSIS will join as co-headliners for the UK dates, with DARKEST HOUR and HERIOT providing additional support across the tour.
