EVERY HELL release new single & video ‘Revery’

One of the most exciting new bands to emerge this year Every Hell are back with a brand new single ‘Revery’. In a world where nearly every modern rock and metal release is highly edited, punched in, sample replaced and produced, Every Hell have taken the opposite approach to their latest release by recording it all live and to tape, capturing a sound that is as close to their raw sound as possible. The end result is a massive sounding moody rock anthem that showcases the four piece’s musical prowess as it ebbs and flows through the dynamics from head bobbing grooves to heavy riff fuelled aggression. With such a ballsy approach there really is nowhere to hide and hide they do not, if there was ever a reason to see a band live, its projects like this!

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Will Gardener says: “Revery is about fighting anxiety and the little tricks and lies we use to try and convince ourselves we are okay. Recording this song was a real treat. We tracked drums, bass, guitar and vocals live together in the room to 2 inch tape. Peter Miles was at the helm again which made it an easy and very fast ride. The take you hear (and can kind of see in the video) was the one we chose to keep, rough and ready with zero edits. Just some additional sax and a couple of guitar overdubs after the fact. Was a great feeling performing and then getting that instant gratification when we walked back into the control room.”
