Dying Wish Release Crushing New Single “Revenge in Carnage”

Portland heavy hitters Dying Wish have dropped their brand new single “Revenge in Carnage”, the latest taste of their upcoming album Flesh Stays Together, set for release September 26th on SharpTone Records.
The track lands with an official music video, co-directed by photographer/filmmaker Imani Givertz and the band’s guitarist Pedro Carrillo – watch below.
Following last month’s lead single “I’ll Know You’re Not Around”, this latest cut takes Dying Wish’s savage blend of hardcore intensity and metal ferocity to a new level. Vocalist Emma Boster describes: “Revenge in Carnage’ is an anthemic moment of man-made apocalyptic violence. Imagine when you hear the isolated vocal starting the song that you have entered your final moment. Our final moments on this earth will not be peaceful. There’s no time for reflection, only survival”
Carrillo expands on the video’s vision: “The video represents the disillusion of self. The acceptance of violence and how we see ourselves in other people. We try to silence those thoughts with our own righteous beliefs only to be a different version of the same knife. We continue to fail to protect one another. We continue to point the finger. We continue to pretend that evil isn’t formed within our soul. If there is hope, it won’t be found in this lifetime.”
Flesh Stays Together was recorded with heavyweight producer Will Putney (Knocked Loose, Nothing, Full of Hell), and follows 2023’s Symptoms of Survivalm an album that earned widespread acclaim for its uncompromising brutality and genre-bending extremity.
With Flesh Stays Together, Dying Wish are pushing even further into chaos, delivering what promises to be one of the most feral and emotionally charged heavy records of 2024. Fans can pre-order and pre-save the album now, with a variety of limited vinyl colour variants available through the band’s store.
