DeadWax Return With New Single ‘Famous Style’

Blending metal, grime, dubstep, and drum & bass with raw UK grit DeadWax are the band carving out a sound that’s unmistakably theirs. The group are back with their latest single, ‘Famous Style’, a track that hits with urgency, attitude, and a healthy dose of reflection.

Frontman Jake Milburn explains the track is a personal vent: “‘Famous Style’ is a vent of frustration at what I thought I wanted growing up, to be a famous rockstar. But as we grow into maturity it’s clear the reality of life in the public eye isn’t all that’s told to you as a kid. Stars fall from grace constantly, or people get so isolated they believe their thoughts are some kind of revelation. Our vision of success as a band is different now, and we hope any success doesn’t change that.”

DeadWax are now gearing up for a fresh run of UK shows, including two headline dates in London and Bristol, with more announcements expected soon.
