CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR Release New Single ‘Noble Bloom’

London-based metalcore quartet CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR have dropped new single ‘Noble Bloom’ – a raw and powerful emotionally charged track that balances heaviness with melodic anguish. The song is another preview of their upcoming album This Pain Will Serve You, due out 16th May via Facedown Records.

The track delves deep into the heartbreak of losing a loved one, with guitarist Jack Darnell drawing from personal experience following the loss of his mother. “This song is about being forced to move through the stages of grief far too quickly,” Darnell explains. “Starting with overwhelming anger, then realising just how limited your time together truly is. Eventually, you’re left with no choice but to accept the immutable truth.”

“For those who are going through, or have been through, something as life-changing as a terminal illness: the pain never fully goes away. But over time, the space around it grows. It does get easier — I promise.”

Speaking on the upcoming album, the band shares:“This record is a heartfelt tribute to those who have experienced profound loss — to those who continue to grieve the ones they love. It stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, inviting listeners to find comfort and solidarity in faith, hope, and the shared experience of grief. We grow from trauma — we let it serve us.”

To mark the release of the record, CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR will play special hometown headline show at The 229 in London on 31st May. Tickets are available here.
