Colorblind Drop New Single ‘GOD COMPLEX’ Alongside EP ‘Who Sold You This Truth’

Austin, Texas “dreamcore” rising stars Colorblind have unleashed their latest single, ‘GOD COMPLEX’ from their new EP Who Sold You This Truth, out now via Solid State Records. The song is a beautifully crafted mix of ethereal atmospherics and lush melodies with crushing emotionally charged heaviness, it’s the blend of light and dark that they do so well.

Describing the track, the band says: “God Complex is about someone who manipulates everything just to feel in control, twisting words, breaking people, and calling it love.”

The single comes paired with an official music video that perfectly complements the song’s searing lyrical themes.

The new EP, Who Sold You This Truth, showcases a triumphant cinematic sound, that take elements from all of their influences and brings them together into a cohesive and musically accomplished release while being lyrically vulnerable. Speaking about the band’s evolution, vocalist Travis Moseley says: “We’ve been wrestling with who we want to be sonically, because we have a huge array of things we want to do. How do we condense all of those things down into one sound? We don’t even know who we’re supposed to be, and that’s the fun of it.”
