Collision Festival Announces Wave Two Line-Up for 2026 Return

Collision Festival is continuing to build momentum ahead of its 2026 return, unveiling a stacked second wave of artists for what’s shaping up to be one of the most vital grassroots-focused alternative festivals in the UK.
Set to take over Bedford Esquires on 11th April 2026, Collision has earned a reputation as a platform with real intent. Founded in 2023, the festival was created to bridge the gap between emerging talent and the national stage and in just a few short years, it’s become a key space for discovering the next wave of UK alternative, rock and heavy music.
The newly announced artists joining the bill are:
-
Tropic Gold
-
HRTLSS
-
Blight Town
-
BEX
-
DeadWax
-
Obeyer
-
Iridium
-
Autumn Fires
This second wave adds even more depth to an already diverse line-up. Previously announced acts include Dream State, False Reality, Native James, Hell Hotel, Lonesome and Only Pain, collectively showcasing the breadth, intensity and forward-thinking energy currently driving the UK alternative scene.
Collision has also launched a band competition, offering emerging acts the chance to earn a slot on the 2026 line-up. Open to rising bands across the UK alternative and heavy scenes, artists can submit their details via the Collision website for the opportunity to perform alongside some of the most exciting breakthrough names in the country.
“Collision exists to create the kind of moment that can shift a band’s trajectory,” says Co-Founder Paul Mercer. “The UK has no shortage of talent — what’s missing are the platforms that shine a light on them at the right time.”
Collision’s mission is deeply tied to Bedford Esquires, one of the UK’s most respected grassroots venues. The venue is currently part of the Music Venue Trust’s ‘Own Our Venues’ scheme, which aims to protect independent music spaces at risk of closure by securing them through community ownership.
“Without stages like this, scenes disappear,” adds organiser Nathan ‘Barley’ Phillips. “Collision is our way of keeping that door open — for bands who deserve it and for fans who live for it.”
With more announcements still to come, Collision Festival 2026 is shaping up to be unmissable for fans who care about the future of alternative music — and the venues that keep those scenes alive.
