Chrissy Costanza Makes Bold Solo Debut with EP VII

Chrissy Costanza, the powerhouse vocalist of alternative sensation Against The Current, has officially launched her solo career with the release of her debut EP, VII. The release marks a new chapter for Costanza, who has captivated 4.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and garnered over 3 billion streams throughout her career. The EP arrives after the success of her debut solo single, “7 Minutes In Hell,” and the emotionally charged pop-rock ballad, “I Tried To Act Your Age.”
Costanza, describes VII as a deeply personal project that represents her evolution as both an artist and an individual. “VII is a true reflection of my journey as an artist, and every track holds a piece of my evolution—both musically and personally. I wanted to push boundaries, experiment with new sounds, and give my fans something raw and real,” she explains. “It’s a new chapter for me that feels closer to my soul than ever before. Through these seven songs, I explored my love for fantasy and mythology, imagining myself as Icarus with wings of wax and feathers, hurtling towards the sun.”
The seven-track EP features songs that showcase Costanza’s versatility, blending pop, rock, and emotional ballads. Fans will recognise her signature style, but with a more experimental and raw edge, reflecting her personal growth and artistic ambitions.

To celebrate the release, Costanza has announced her first-ever solo tour, the Spin The Bottle tour, where she will perform alongside VOILÀ. Following the US leg, she will head to the UK and Europe for a series of performances this autumn, offering international fans a chance to experience her new material live.
