CARNIFEX release ‘Death’s Forgotten Children’ Feat. Tom Barber of Chelsea Grin

Deathcore heavyweights CARNIFEX are back and set to release their ninth full-length studio album, Necromanteum on October 6th via Nuclear Blast Records. The band have given us another taste of the record with new single ‘Death’s Forgotten Children’ which features Tom Barber of CHELSEA GRIN. The song is Carnifex doing what they do best, unleashing a sonic visceral assault with technical detuned guitar work, blast beats and double kick patterns galore, wall of death inducing breakdowns, sinister orchestral melodies and a range of vocals that cut through the mix like a death metal sword. Speaking of vocals, lyrically the song was inspired by near-death experiences that Scott and Tom have lived through. CARNIFEX’s Scott Ian Lewis comments, “I really had a great time working with Tom. Not only did we collaborate on the vocal patterns but we co-wrote the lyrics, which is something I’ve never done before. The song came out great and we both hope the fans love it as much as we do.”
