Can’t Swim Release New Single ‘Worst Ain’t Over Yet’

New Jersey-based rock band Can’t Swim have released their fast-paced, hook-filled new single, ‘Worst Ain’t Over Yet,’ marking another punchy addition to their growing discography. The track, which blends punk rock intensity with catchy melodies and heavy flourishes, was a year in the making according to frontman Christopher LoPorto: “Worst Ain’t Over Yet is a song I’ve had written for over a year now. Every few months I would revisit it and change a few words around and pick it apart.” The band enlisted producer Jon Markson to help bring the track to life in the studio. “Jon really opened our eyes on what the song should sound like sonically and highlighted the strengths of the tune in a really cool way,” LoPorto added, praising Markson not only as a talented collaborator but also as a close friend.

The single also features vocals from Nate Hardy of Microwave, who contributed his voice to the post-chorus and bridge. According to LoPorto, “Once he laid those vocals down, we all sat around the studio listening to it and felt it was finally done. What a journey, can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
