Broadside Announce New Album ‘Nowhere, At Last’ With Bands Single ‘Dark Passenger’ Out Now!

Words: Kayleigh McKenzie

Richmond, Virginia alt-rock outfit Broadside have announced their next album ‘Nowhere, At Last’ which is set for release April 10th via Thriller Records. The announcement is accompanied by the release of the bands new single ‘Dark Passenger’.

‘Dark Passenger’ taps into that part of yourself that feels impossible to shake, the habits and patterns that become comfortable even when they are harmful.

Broadside vocalist Oliver Baxxter shares: “’Dark Passenger’ is about that familiar inner shadow – when anxiety or depression stops feeling like a visitor and starts feeling like a roommate. It’s the push-pull of hating what it’s doing to you, but still embracing it, because the chaos of self-sabotage can feel so comforting.

Broadside have never been a band to stay in one place for too long – musically or otherwise. Made up of Oliver Baxxter (vocals), Domenic Reid (guitar) and Patrick Diaz (bass & backing vocals), the alt group are now entering a new defining era with upcoming album ‘Nowhere, At Last’. This next chapter represents a clear step forward, shaped by experience, growth, and a deeper understanding of who they are.

Alongside the album release Broadside have some pretty exciting live dates booked for 2026. This will include shows with State ChampsCartel and Real Friends in January. Then February shows in Australia with AnberlinCarteHot Chelle Rae and This Wild Life.
