Broadside Announce New Album ‘Nowhere, At Last’ With Bands Single ‘Dark Passenger’ Out Now!
Words: Kayleigh McKenzie
‘Dark Passenger’ taps into that part of yourself that feels impossible to shake, the habits and patterns that become comfortable even when they are harmful.
Broadside vocalist Oliver Baxxter shares: “’Dark Passenger’ is about that familiar inner shadow – when anxiety or depression stops feeling like a visitor and starts feeling like a roommate. It’s the push-pull of hating what it’s doing to you, but still embracing it, because the chaos of self-sabotage can feel so comforting.”
Alongside the album release Broadside have some pretty exciting live dates booked for 2026. This will include shows with State Champs, Cartel and Real Friends in January. Then February shows in Australia with Anberlin, Carte, Hot Chelle Rae and This Wild Life. The band also hit the road with The Maine, Nightly and Grayscale in April ahead of an appearance at Slam Dunk Festival (UK).
