Architects team up with House Of Protection for ‘Brain Dead’

Architects surprise dropped their brand new single, “Brain Dead,” a blistering collaboration with experimental alt duo House of Protection. This marks the final preview before the release of their 11th studio album, The Sky, The Earth & All Between, which drops this Friday, February 28 via Epitaph Records.

Following the introspective and emotionally charged “Everything Ends,” released just days ago, “Brain Dead” takes a hard turn into chaos, delivering an unrelenting mix of punk energy and crushing metalcore brutality. Produced by Jordan Fish, the track showcases a fresh sound with Sam Carter once again demonstrating his impressive vocal range along side Aric Improta and Stephen Harrison from House of Protection as the track rips with explosive drumming, razor-sharp riffs, and a relentless pace that only lets up for a final, bone-crushing breakdown. Lyrically, the song takes aim at modern disillusionment, delivered with the unfiltered fury that Architects have long been known for.

“Brain Dead” continues a strong streak of singles, following “Blackhole,” “Whiplash,” “Curse,” and “Seeing Red”—a run that has collectively amassed over 90 million streams.

To celebrate the album’s release, Architects will embark on a series of special UK shows before heading out on a headline tour across Europe. Later in the year, the band will join Linkin Park on select dates of their world tour, followed by a string of major U.S. festival appearances, including Rock Fest, Upheaval, and Inkcarceration.
