Alyx Holcombe presents MANTRA: a new immersive fan experience

Radio presenter Alyx Holcombe has been a long time supporter of new music, from giving up and coming artists a platform to be heard to helping fans discover and connect their new favourite act, and today she is bringing that ethos to the live arena as she presents MANTRA; a brand new monthly event hosted with DHP and UTA at The Grace in Islington, London. The night is being promoted as “an immersive experience that will not only give fans the opportunity to witness incredible live music, as well as DJ sets from Alyx herself, but to meet their new favourite bands, get items signed and pick up merch, all the while supporting one of London’s grassroots venues.”

The first event will take place on 15th October and will see one of the hottest new bands around unpeople make their headline debut, topped with the launch of their brand new single with support from alt-rock/shoegaze quintet Oversize.

Speaking on the event Alyx explains: “MANTRA is an immersive fan experience. There’s not a place anymore where you can have a meet and greet with an artist you’ve started loving which won’t cost an arm and a leg. The world of socials has taken away that real life human connection from bands and fans, their DMs are flooded and not every message can be replied to. I want to get the current and next generation excited about new bands again and help the bands create that solid network of fans. The artists on the line-up for these nights are ones I’ve championed from the start and truly believe in. Can’t wait for you to check them out!”
