Y!KES RELEASE NEW SINGLE & VIDEO FOR “NOT EVERYTHING, NOT YET”

Birmingham’s grunge soaked rockers Y!KES have dropped brand new music entitled “Not Everything, Not Yet”. The song is a sonic journey through the 90s to the modern day, with influences ranging from the grunge era & brit pop to some classic four to the floor rock out moments all crammed into a well polished mix to create a nostalgic yet fresh sound. The music video is inspired by psychological horror films & was shot at Lincoln’s ‘Mannequin Graveyard’ and see’s the band performing amongst, yes you guessed it, a ton of mannequins, some of which are the stuff nightmares are made of… remind us to never visit that place at night!

Talking on the single the band say it’s “An anthem for all who teeter on the edge of change, yet have waited long enough to learn the virtue of patience. Produced by Jim Pinder (BMTH/While She Sleeps), the booming drums, colossal guitar tones & rolling vocal hooks showcase Y!KES sounding larger than the very mountain they approach the top of.”
