WATCH: DISTANT Video For New Track ‘Human Scum’
European deathcore crew DISTANT have released a brand new single ‘Human Scum’ and as the title and visuals suggest this isn’t one for the faint hearted! “Human Scum” is a brutal assault on the senses with huge de-tuned riffs and beats that are near impossible to not bang your head to, visceral storytelling vocals, pummelling drums and massive breakdowns all set within a sinister discordant ambient soundscape that adds that extra element of evil.
Speaking on the song DISTANT say: “‘Human Scum’ is a deathtrap of a track, with a hooky chorus and an impeccable atmospheric soundscape. The tracks adds on to the never ending evolution to Distant songwriting capabilities and the sound of hellscape.
After Tyrannt’s crucible with his father – Tsukuyomi – he suffered a great defeat. Stranded in this new world in his mortal body, he’s found by his silent worshippers of the Covenant, who work to help Tyrannt’s rebirth into full power again – and, raising his army against the forces of Tsukuyomi to get the ultimate revenge.”
