VUKOVI Release new single & video ‘MERCY KILL’

Ahead of their upcoming support slots with Babymetal & two intimate hometown shows in Glasgow’s Cathouse, chaos causers Vukovi are back with a brand new single, “Mercy Kill” – accompanied with an action packed music video directed by singer Janine Shilstone & Zac Pinchin. Having recently announced their signing to SharpTone Records, this is single number two following “Creep Heat” in August, the first music released since ‘Nula’ reached our ears last year. The song is an emotionally charged anthem with huge atmospheric synths gliding through the mix along with Hamish Reilly’s slick and heavy guitar tones while Janine delivers a powerful vocal performance demonstrating her incredible range.

“I wanted to depict the devotion towards addiction, whether it be towards a substance or another human” says Janine. “You know it’s dangerous but find yourself submitting to the high again and again.”

With a busy summer that saw them take on festivals like Slam Dunk, Resurrection Festival in Spain and Full Force Fest in Germany – the band are now setting their sights on the next chapter and with releases of this quality, there’s no sign of them slowing down any time soon.
