UNITYTX Releases new single & video ‘STFU’
Dallas metal/hip-hop fusion force UnityTX have dropped their new single “STFU.” The track is the latest preview of their upcoming sophomore album Somewhere, In Between… (out March 13th) and follows previously released cuts “Body Roc” and “Enjoy Tha Show.”
Blending punishing riffs, hardcore intensity and razor-sharp hip-hop flow, “STFU” captures UnityTX at their most aggressive and emotionally raw. It’s a track fuelled by frustration, a sonic outburst aimed at the pressure cooker of modern visibility and the suffocating weight of public opinion.
Frontman Jay Webster, aka SHAOLIN G, opens up about the mindset behind the track: “‘STFU’ is a song that evokes a sense of insignificance in the face of the vastness of the world. Once the haze of success dissipates, you realize how precarious mental stability feels amidst growing pains, increased exposure, and the constant barrage of online opinions about you. Ultimately, my goal is to avoid the noise, but I’m surrounded by constant challenges that test my limits. It often seems easier to cut ties than to immerse myself in a system that will always find fault in every approach.”
UnityTX are set to bring the chaos to stages across the US this spring as support for Varials on a full national run.
