MALICE team up with Jessie Powell of Dream State for new single “FLAYED LORD”

We’re three singles into the world of Malice and I think we get the gist that this is extraordinary. A beautiful immersion of audio and visual metal with riffs, drop-tuning and breakdowns worth buying a bib for. Vocals are insanely good; guttural, packed with emotion and relentless from start to finish. Partner this with feature vocalist Jessie Powell of Dream State and we have a real statement track to tie in with their previous head-turners of singles.

Vocalist Josh Davies comments: “Writing ‘Flayed Lord’ was in a time I was struggling to sleep at night and also finding it hard to cope with certain things that were happening in my life. The Flayed Lord himself is a metaphor for all the bad. The first person character is in denial of this, until the point of self-realisation that he is what he sees and no matter where he goes he will always be followed by the Flayed Lord who represents his trauma. Having my heart on my sleeve is where I become my most vulnerable and I’m proud to have shared this song with Jessie and our fans, thank you for listening and thank you for supporting!
