Genre defiers The Plot In You have unveiled their latest EP, Vol. 3, via Fearless Records, marking the next chapter in their ever-evolving musical journey. Fans can dive into the new record in full here. To celebrate the release, the band has also dropped a gripping music video for their new single, “Spare Me.”

Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, vocalist Landon Tewers shared:

“‘Spare Me’ is a meditation on current society and how we internalize what’s happening around us. Feeling guilt about what can’t be controlled or altered.”

This introspective theme runs deep through Vol. 3, solidifying the band’s reputation for marrying raw emotion with hard-hitting soundscapes.

The EP follows the success of Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Tracks like “Divide” and “Left Behind” collectively garnered over 50 million Spotify streams, while the Vol. 2 single “Forgotten” has become a fan favourite in their expansive back catalog. The band has displayed impressive growth, crafting intense yet reflective narratives that resonate deeply with fans.

Vol. 3 continues this trajectory with standout tracks like “Been Here Before,” which delves into the emotional turbulence of relationships. The band’s signature blend of intensity and heartfelt storytelling shines as they explore the highs and lows of human connection with unrelenting honesty.

With Vol. 3, The Plot In You reaffirms their status as one of the most compelling acts in modern heavy music.
