THE HOWLING unveil new single ‘New Religion’ and announce debut EP “Salvo”

There’s a new storm brewing in the UK alternative scene and it goes by the name THE HOWLING. Drenched in high drama and burning with feverish intensity, the band wear their influences loud and proud while offering something fresh and dynamic. Taking the theatrical musicality of My Chemical Romance with the high punk energy of Green Day, layered with a dark, melancholic melodrama reminiscent of The Sisters of Mercy. The result? A sound that feels both nostalgic and new.
Following their 2025 debut ‘Little Promises’ and ‘Unholy’, THE HOWLING have now dropped their most emotionally charged offering yet: ‘New Religion’. The track is a heart-wrenching anthem that leans fully into the band’s cinematic tendencies.

The band have also officially announced their debut EP Salvo, set for release on 22nd May 2026. If the trio of singles so far are anything to go by, Salvo promises a collection packed with passion, power and plenty of gothic-tinged drama.
Next up, THE HOWLING will take their live show across the UK and Europe this April and May, supporting Creeper on an almost completely sold out run.
