The 1975 Replace Rage Against The Machine as Reading & Leeds Headliners
With the announcement yesterday that Rage Against The Machine will be cancelling all their UK & European dates this year due the risks on vocalist Zack De La Rocha’s health, it was up in the air as to who would take their headline slot at this year’s Reading & Leeds festivals. However, we didn’t have to wait long as R&L have just confirmed that taking their place will be alt-pop giants The 1975! The band previously headlined the stages in 2019 and with their new album “Being Funny In A Foreign Language” set to be released in October this year, it couldn’t come at a better time for them.
You can read RATM’s statement here and a list of their cancelled dates. We wish all the best for Zack and co and hope to see them live across the pond next year!
