Straight For The Sun deliver molten metal forged in Birmingham

Fresh from performing at one of the UK’s most thoroughbred festivals for metal – Bloodstock – we are introduced to Straight For The Sun. The Birmingham band have had a break from the scene to write and regroup and this is the first offering. Fans of Slipknot will love the guitar tones and savage breakdowns. Fans of Bullet For My Valentine will adore the construction, power chorus and gravely vocal tone of Callum Green. Fans of more modern interpretations like Falling In Reverse will approve of the fine balancing of explosive riffs and heavier outbursts. All-in-all a thoroughly meaty piece of music for all.

On the new single “Pulling Teeth”, vocalist Callum Green comments: “The song itself became a journey of self doubt. Being overwhelmed with pressure was getting the better of the band. However, by looking introspectively about how we make music, we were able to use that to inspire the lyrics and vibe of the song, which we think a lot of other people can relate to in regards to anything they are passionate about.”  And if you enjoy this release, then we’ve been teased there is more coming!
