SPLIT CHAIN release cover of ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Me’ by Type O Negative

Bristol nu-gaze rising stars Split Chain are continuing their takeover of the alternative space. Fresh off the back of their recent signing to Epitaph Records, and UK and European tours with Boston Manor & Trophy Eyes, they have now dropped a killer cover of goth legends Type O Negative’s hit single, “I Don’t Wanna Be Me”. The song takes the the original into punk-ed up territory, as fast grooves and distorted guitars are met with frontman Roberto Martinez-Cowles’ delivering a grit filled vocal performance.
