SPEED Announce New EP “ALL MY ANGELS” & Drop Single “PEACE”
Australian hardcore heavyweights SPEED are showing no signs of slowing down. Fresh off the back of global tours and the success of their 2024 album ONLY ONE MODE, the Sydney quintet have just announced their next chapter, a brand-new three-track EP titled ALL MY ANGELS, set to drop on October 23rd via Flatspot Records (worldwide) and Last Ride Records (AUS/NZ). Preorders are live now.
Produced, recorded and mixed by Elliott Gallart at The Chameleon Studios, the EP is rooted in heartbreak and resilience. The band reflect on the loss of three close friends in recent years, channeling grief into what they call their heaviest and most meaningful material to date. As always with SPEED, the core message shines through: love without fear or regret.
The first taste comes with lead single “PEACE”, out now. The track erupts from the jump with crushing riffs and ferocious vocals, backed by a performance-driven video directed by Thomas Elliott.
Frontman Jem Siow explains the raw inspiration behind the lyrics: “Three of our close friends passed away in 18 months – but, amidst this devastation I was overcome with a deep sense of clarity and peace… Their lives were short, but I know our experiences together were lived with deep, meaningful intention, which has in turn empowered us with more meaning and purpose while we are still here.”

SPEED will road-test the new material immediately, joining Turnstile’s stacked North American tour this September alongside Amyl & The Sniffers, Mannequin Pussy, Blood Orange, and Jane Remover on select dates. To celebrate the EP’s release, the band headline Brooklyn’s Xanadu roller rink on October 25th with End It and MSPAINT, before flying out for an eleven-date European run with Malevolence, Dying Wish, and Psycho-Frame.
